Safety Training Plus is proud to be a Certified Training Provider of the F.A.S.T. Rescue Working At Heights approved training provider for the Ontario Working At Heights program. Our Working At Heights Training Program meets the latest Ontario training requirements. This program provides workers with the knowledge required for the safe use and operation of equipment for working at heights. They will be able to recognize fall hazards and apply the proper safety measures. The key objective of the course is to teach operators how to increase the efficient use of elevating work platforms and reduce the risk of injury and damage to equipment, product and buildings.
Learn precautions for lifting, lowering and moving, personal protective equipment including fall arrest systems, legal requirements under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, proper inspection, donning and size adjustment of harness and lanyard, skills assessment on the platform, including area hazard assessment, control of platform and working on elevations.
