A Working at Heights Train the Trainer Program (TTT) is designed to certify experienced workers or safety professionals to deliver and teach Working at Heights training within their organization. This program focuses on both the technical knowledge of fall protection and the instructional skills required to train workers effectively.
Participants learn about Ontario fall protection legislation, hazard identification, risk assessment, proper use of fall protection equipment, rescue planning, and safe work procedures when working at heights. In addition to technical content, the program also covers adult learning principles, lesson planning, presentation techniques, and evaluating student competency to ensure trainers can confidently deliver engaging and compliant training sessions.
Once certified, instructors are able to train their own staff in Working at Heights, helping organizations maintain compliance, reduce training costs, and ensure workers understand how to prevent falls—the leading cause of serious workplace injuries in construction and industrial environments.
